Said it before, but had a friend that lived on Mincing Lane, Bell End.

Blackheath way? I know of a bell end over there, and a street called bell end for that matter.

As an aside, is Townsville the worst name for a place ever or what? They’ve basically called it Town Town.

See also River Avon, River Humber, Lake Tahoe, Wast Water, Mull of Kintyre, Gobi Desert, Sahara Desert, East Timor and Milky Way Galaxy. BTW it's officially the 'City of Townsville' so it's even worse than you thought.
There's a hill in Cumbria called Torpenhow. Which means hillhillhill.

Somewhere Yam-Yam way. Had to get taxis to drop him near his house, cos if he said his road and area, they thought he was taking the piss and would drive off

And was that the Roar's home ground as it is about 800 miles from Brisbane?  Strong MK Dons / London Wasps vibes if so.
Roar play in Brisbane. There was a short-lived ‘franchise’ in Townsville called the North Queensland Fury. They were managed by Robbie Fowler. I didn’t go well because it’s so far from anywhere and it’s rusted on egg chasing country. And they were shit.

Surprised they didn't call the team 'Townsville Town'.

Doug Luiz has looked good tonight. Good link up play and some good passes.
Played a crucial role in the goal with the dummy and then dragging a defender wide. We know he can do this stuff if they don't put valium in his tea.

I know it’s still early days but I thought it was largely the same disjointed crap interspersed with the occasional good move that we saw last season.  Still not convinced with Gerrard.  Definitely need a new striker unless Cameron is given a chance and hits the ground running.  A lot to ask of him.

Agree that being disjointed IN ATTACK might be a worry under the new regime. Under Gerrard havnet seen patterns of making attack that much? Do we relay on individuals like Phil and are in need of a new striker that can make goal on his own because of this? We do look increasingly solid defensively and as they say good teams start with solid defence. Hopefully the next step in building this team will take care of building patterns of attacking moves. Fx mc Allister known for the passing game, wasnt he?

I think Cam could end up our main striker sooner than later. Watching him last night he was dropping deep to get involved make space and then getting into good positions to get chances on goal. He looks like a very intelligent player and already looks like he is as good as if not a better finisher than Ings and Watkins.
Unless we sign an out and out goal scorer for the season (such as Suarez), I reckon Cam will be our main striker by the end of the upcoming season.
