Lovely move again by Cam. Shoots over. Looks very up for it
I suspect the coaches will point out the fairly simple pass to Watkins.

I don't know whether to be worried that we aren't getting more goals or be happy that we are finding a way to win anyway!

Feel sorry for the chap Digne caught, that looked nasty and I think if the ref sees that properly he'd have been off. It looked like a bite from 28 Days Later.

Bailey looked lively and he's showing off his pace.

Well done Cam, hope he starts against Man United, but think that's unlikely.

Maybe. But the best strikers in the world are also quite focused on scoring. It would be great if he adds the extra dimension of finding others in open space, but we need natural scorers and he is making that argument he is the best at club right now

Ollie better watch Cam finish, or end up watching Cam finish.

It was a lovely goal, but in fairness he missed a couple as well. I know Ollie is not flavour of the month, but he’s scored some cracking goals for Villa.

Archer looks like he could be a really good player but we can't rely on him just yet to be our main striker. With Watkins and Ings struggling to find the net last season and not really showing any other qualities in this pre campaign then I think a BIG decision has to be made very soon.

I would sell either of the two for a healthy sum of money and then replace them with either Suarez or somebody else.

Ideally with age on his side I would move Ings on if anybody would take him for the fee we paid ?

We have so many players that we will struggle to get rid of you really start to notice just how much money we have wasted over the years

We would make a profit on Watkins and take a haircut on Ings.

From what I saw (whilst trying to work at the same time), the first half was a bit drab. Bert seemed to slow the play down whenever he received the ball. Second half was much better. Well worked goal and some nice play. Archer should have had a couple and maybe should have passed for the other  but that's ok, he's still learning. I really like the look of Kesler Hayden but I wonder if it's a season too soon for him?

On this showing KKH is an upgrade on Cash.

He's looked very good, hasn't he?  I suspect he's playing himself into a squad place for this season, rather than another loan.  Not really being tested defensively though, obviously.
I've rated KKH for a while now.  Would definitely like to see him in the squad next season.  It's a bit early to be saying he's better than Cash just yet though.

I thought he looked great. Be interesting to see him against Man U. I looked the look of Chrisene when he came for a short while as well. One thing I've noticed with all the kids is that they all look good physical specimens, absolutely not intimidated whatsoever.
