Welcome to Summertime Guess The 2024 Crowd! This is a limited edition version of the competition you know and love, based on the impending expansion of Villa Park to increase capacity. Yay! 😃

Here we go...
Christian Purslow has announced the owners’ plans to increase the capacity of Villa Park. These plans fall into 2 phases.
PHASE 1
Build a new North Stand, upgrade and expand the Trinity corporate facilities and build something new, big and exciting in the big car park. This phase is due to be completed for mid 2024, and will expand the ground ‘from 42K to over 50K’.
The detailed plans for this first phase will be published later this summer, planning approval pending.
This summer round of Guess The Crowd is to guess what the new capacity for 2024 will be!We should know this when the plans come out, any time in the next couple or 3 months. Exciting stuff!
Your Guess should be a 5 figure number., somewhere north of 42,785

The second phase after 2024: CP says (short version) that this will expand and improve the Holte and Witton/DE stands to include safe standing somewhere and further push the capacity up to 60K+ ‘within 10 years’.
It’s on YouTube, you can listen to him describe everything about the plans if you’d like to know more than this.
