There you go, oven-ready match thread comments. Help yourselves.

It's an interesting approach, and not without merits.  Get your business done early doors, giving the negative comments time to bed in and hit the ground running.

Are we just trying to make sure Chukwuemeka signs a new deal?

I don't mind the changes but I think we've seen enough to know Dougie cant play that holding role.

Have Burnley scored already? I'm on a delay.

Glad Chuk is in at the start!

And Ramsey with Watkins and Emi; what an exciting beat combo as 60s LP sleeve notes used to say!

Come ooooon, Villa!

Happy with the team particularly Buendia, hopefully he's gonna control the midfield, good luck to Chuk as well. Villa 2 nil

I'm never gonna see Coutinho and Buendia in the same team from the start, am I?

Probably not. They are both great play makers but unless we dropped Mc Ginn I can't see them both starting.

I love this reverse match thread. Buendia starts in the future of this reverse thread. Can't wait to have just seen him about to ripped Burnley apart.

Let's just fuck the filthy fucking fuckers.
We owe them big style for Wesley.
We haven't really rolled any body over this season.
Let's end on a flourish.

Burnley look like a disaster waiting to happen at the back. Good start by us
