too many coke-heads at away games these days. Half of them don't even watch the game.

Barry's all day long.

Correct. I don't drink tea but my Dad only buys Barry's Master Blend (Black carton) and won't countenance their Gold Blend never mind the Original Blend.

I once found the black label on holiday in Portugal. I also like the Lyons but it's as rare as hens teeth.

What is the attraction of doing drugs going to a football game? Or getting smashed drunk for that matter. It's like getting a box of cigarettes these days on a night out across Europe.

We had this conversation on Saturday in the boozer, the three of us not unfamiliar with the indulance in question. None of us could understand why you would want to to add to what is already a stressful enough pastime as it is.

Although yeah. Still, why bother going the game? Just go up town instead.

I have to laugh at the number of lads queuing for toilet cubicles at away grounds/pubs.  Seems to be a lot of 'upset stomachs' about these days...

My daughter who is 26 and my step daughter who is 24 have stopped drinking in town for a while now which really surprised me as i was collared into dropping them off pretty often

When i asked why they dont go now they both say the same thing - almost every lad between 19 - 28 are totally obsessed with Coke (other drugs are available so i am told) and spend most of their time with other lads in the toilets / alleyways etc.

The biggest issue is that it is too cheap and too available. Another issue is that it is such poor quality, because it is cheap, that they need to "refuel" constantly

So glad im an old fart now who think taking a risk is changing my brand of tea bag

Unfortunately it's the insta generation. Body dysmorphia is a real problem for young men these days unfortunately. Think nothing of snorting a few lines but lay off on the booze to avoid putting on weight. It's relatively cheap compared to 10-15 years ago too  Back in my day a cheap night out could have been a few pills and a gallon of water so maybe we are being too critical. But it's one thing doing it on a night out but doing it at a football game I don't understand.

Like you, I'm not unfamiliar with the tinctures involved, and I've never done it at the match. Boshed pills at the 96 final though. That was fun.

Be fair, how are you supposed to summon up enough courage to offer out the home fans with a row of twenty empty seats and a line of stewards between you if you haven't girded your loins with a few sniffs of Colombia's finest?

I've only done coke on one occasion (multiple lines, admittedly) and I wound up spending £300 on drink and cigarettes in a 36-hour period. Some of these lads must be made of money the way they carry on.

They must be all still living at home with their parents, because with the cost of living soaring, how do they afford to buy drugs?

Seconded. I pay way over the odds here is Oz for Barry's because the local stuff is bitter, piss weak stuff. The Baggies of tea if you like.
