Goal aside it has been really poor. Players give the impression they are looking forward to their holidays. Great ball from Ings and Watkins finished it very well. One decent shot by Bailey but that aside nothing to write home about. Norwich have nothing about them.

Also I really have no idea what Digne offers. Weak and one paced. Gets the ball in good areas but delivers nothing of note ever.

I may be wrong but feels to be that by the time we've finally gotten to a crossing position, the other team have everyone back. Same for the right hand side too.

I have a hunch we'll be much better without Bailey

The ref is a total twat. Blowing up for every Norwich player falling over, missed a clear foul on Ings, and gave Ibuprofen a bollocking on his debut for winning a ball fair and square. Absolute clown.

Ibuprofen? Villa do make me reach for a bottle of them each week.

I'm expecting a more better second half now that we are a goal up. Hopefully the goal will give them some much needed confidence though that said, Norwich don't seem to lack it despite being the worst team in the league. We're our own worst enemy, giving the ball away far too often. For me, the set up just doesn't suit us.

Hopefully Ollie 'Fenton!' Watkins can get another. Despite not being able to lead the line due to his poor hold up play, until we get somebody better in we have to play to his strengths. Not sure playing Coutinho so wide is playing to his strengths either.

Ings off the post. Great header, unlucky. He's doing well.

Ings should be hitting that first time.

Look at that ball from Coutinho. Majestic.
