There was a time back in the 90's when we used to struggle to beat them, I vaguely remember them scoring a ridiculously shit goal at the Holte End where we had about 15 chances to clear the ball and failed, may have been the fag end of Ron's time.

Wasn’t that the infamous “Ugos debut” game in 92-93 which we lost 3-2? Keystone cops defending for one of the goals from recollection.

The incident well-described above came in a 1-1 draw in 1994. The away supporters celebrated at the end like they'd won a trophy!

Correct dcd. I was home for a weekend from Paris and was in the new lower Holte. I was fuming at their goal, an effort of such collective piss poor ineptitude it was shown in the opening credits of the following night’s wrap up of European football on Canal +

And that’s that, looking forward to a simple 5-0 Villa win now Dave.

Watched that clip, it went on to show Orient beating us 1-0 in 75
worth while to see the state of the pitch
Got me thinking, when did players names start being put on their shits ?
it must have been a Premier league thing
