The main difference yesterday was that we have two duds upfront and they haven’t

Oh well.

I stayed till 90 mins but I missed the added on time because I needed a piss. I hope that was ok.

I managed to tie a knot in it until the final whistle, but I admit it was an effort.

We're talking about deserting the side with 20 minutes to go. That's not nipping to the toilet or making a dash for the train, that's an egregious surrender.

Egregious surrender? If you've paid money you're absolutely entitled to leave whenever you feel like it for whatever reason without being insulted by fellow fans.

I surrendered on 82 minutes. If I'd known it was going to upset you so much I'd have stayed. Until the 70th minute.

No Sid, just in case one of them was you. You're awfully intimidating and I'm afraid you might put your fists on me.

It's getting increasingly unpleasant on here just lately.

Indeed. I suppose emotions run high when the villa are involved and, even if a certain poster in this very thread likes to call people out for over-reacting to a defeat when so many bad things are happening in the world, said posters own use of quite extreme language here would indicate that he himself takes the villa as seriously as any of us and hates losing as much as any of us!

I'd love to call people who nip off for chips and curry sauce on 36 minutes wankers but I'm too polite and we'll brought-up to do so

Son and Bailey both came from Leverkusen and for €30m. The similarities end there.

I stayed to the end and even sang "I'm Villa till I die". Yes, a middle-aged woman!

God knows what that would make me to some on here...

I think it’s now become apparent that Bailey looking so good against Everton was more a reflection on Everton than on Bailey.

Are there wholly justified reasons for leaving early? A wedding? A birth? A break-in? If so then the whole question is moot.
No further questions m'lud.

The season is lost, so why not play Tim and Chuk and a few other youngsters just to get them some time on the pitch? It is not like our “senior” players are doing anything of note. I just do not understand the lack of interest in getting the players quality minutes and why it would not be worth seeing if these players can handle the PL. what have we got to lose at this point?

Can't understand why Carney didn't get on at any point yesterday. He came on v Spurs last 15 minutes end of last season and looked fine. I get the issues with the new deal but he's barely played since January after having regular cameos up to that month.

Would certainly give the LB some minutes if Digne is going to be out for the season.

We were losing four-nil. It wasn't any fun. Why would I keep doing something that is making me miserable?
