Played better than I thought. I didn't expect many shots on target. Ings is doing my head in.

Excellent performance so far. Three or four sitters missed unfortunately but front three definitely causing big problems. Luiz and Coutinho have been outstanding. Ings despite two shocking misses has been very good generally. Watkins first touch as bad as ever.

How the fuck are we losing this

Mad, innit. Battering them, yet came within a gnat's of going in 2 down.

Good to see us finally working out what to do if you've got Coutinho in your side; give the ball to Coutinho.

Almost playing brilliantly. Whilst Ings' misses have been more embarrassing, Watkins is the weak link for me. Couldn't trap a ball with no air.

played well.  I wish sometimes we worked it so we had overlaps on the wings.

Being so narrow means we have to play very well to create chances - and the fact that neither of our strikers are able to play like premiership footaballers is a real shame

This is yet another game where we're showing signs of what we can be with a bit more composure and training as a unit. We're a nearly team that only needs minor improvements to be where we want to be.

Badly need a reliable goal scorer. Like Gray, Little, Shaw, Withe etc.

Time to get Archer back. He’d be on a brace by now.

Fuck me, yes, post of the day.

Absolutely. Shame there's no early release option.

Missed their goal but Ive been impressed so far, apart from Ings’ misses. Loved the pressing and desire to win the ball back high up the pitch. It’s a travesty that we’re not at least drawing and should be winning.

I hope Gerrard points out how shit the right centre back for them is (Romero?). Target him and he will give us chances and run the risk of a red, he's been lucky to avoid a booking so far.
