Could I kindly point out that they haven't won any titles this century.

I lived in essex during my formative years, and grew a hatred of Spurs and Arsenal, and to a lesser extent West Ham (who I think there new ground sums them up perfectly).

Particularly Spurs - in the early 90s they had stars like Linker, Gazza, Klinsmen.

We were better, and had great players of our own but didnt seem to shine so bright, but fuck me, did they take themselves seriously.

This was before Spurys was a thing, and they were getting banned from the FA cup (only to have it reversed).

It annoys me, that for the last 15 years they have been much more successful- at just the time when the haves and have nots has widdened.  Topped off with last summer with the super league and the fact somehow they got to keep there "star" whiles ares was able to sell out.

Every "wise man" told me, it cos top players want to live in london.

When you chat to fans of other clubs some don't mind us or Everton or West Ham or even Arsenal but everyone seems to hate Spurs. Same amount of titles as Burnley and Pompey and one less than Huddersfield but appear to regard themselves as on a par with Real Madrid.

In the time i’ve been on this planet, one of these two clubs has won 2 FA Cups and 2 League cups. The other has one a European Cup, were champions of this country and won 2 League Cups. Judging by the media fawning over the last 40 years it must have been Spurzzz that were the latter. Oh.
