A proper Moyes team.  Big and powerful.  And dirty.  We can beat these and overtake them next year I'm sure of it.

Thuggish side, this lot.

In true Moyes fashion.

If he could stick another totem pole alongside Rice and Soucek he would.

Absolutely - they might’ve had some success shithousing their way to europa league, but they’re dreadful to watch. With their only decent footballer Bowen out too it’s even worse.

Just home.  Any help with a flow for the second half would be appreciated.

Absolutely cracking atmosphere.

If you like cracking atmospheres as being like libraries, the Emptihad or exam halls.

Arsenal’s the library, this more a morgue.

Absolutely cracking atmosphere.

I assume that’s sarcasm?

They’re doing us down our right a bit too easily. We seem a bit scared of their central midfield, and haven’t had much penetration.

Hope Digne isn't out for any length of time, but if it's a hamstring it could be a while.

Ash is OK as a one off here and there, or coming off the bench. But wouldn't be confident with him starting our remaining games.

I'd almost be thinking about Mings @ left back and Chambers/Konsa at centre half, should it come to it.

They aren’t exactly breaking us down in the final third, as they are mainly relying on getting the ball outside and playing in a cross. We can get something out of this but the referee has to snuff out the bully ball before someone gets injured. This is dinosaur stuff from West Ham.

I thought Benrahma looked dangerous down our right side first 10-15, but Cash seems to have got to grips with him now and he’s been less involved.

HT

Two tired looking sides that played on Thursday without many changes. We need some freshening up. Just a shame we made one enforced change already.

that should be a penalty.  He has completely cleaned Watkins out

Thought Watkins was pushed into him. We have taken the sting out of them a bit the last 10 mins. The game started well but both teams struggling with the pace. We have plenty of options and need to use the last two subs early.

I agree! VAR should be intervening there.

I’m sitting amongst the spammers and day trippers and fuck me it’s like I’m at the cinema. Where’s the noise they go on about.

That benrama can’t cross or pass for shit.

Anotonio looks like a donkey so bound to score thanks to a Mings slip.

Think he just went and sat down behind the bench so probably looking at back after next international break.

Young done fine so far but he would struggle if they moved Antonio to the right.

Pretty flat game so far imo, can tell both teams played on Thursday tbh.

We have two subs left so interested what Gerrard does, does feel like Buendia could work today as another pressing option dropping deep in midfield and keep Coutinho in that pocket off the strikers.

Not sure on the other sub. I feel we'll probably be o.k with 0-0.

Playing well. United getting frustrated. Defence has been very good.

Might be a good game for Sanson too, would add some more coverage in our midfield. Maybe for one of Ings or Watkins?
