Just with his movement and passing alone today, Coutinho was able to major damage. A very clever player that even with his age and wages we should be looking to make permanent. He could help take us up a level.

Just a word on Chambers. That pass to find Coutinho for Doug’s goal was quality. Best goal of the match for me. 2 clean sheets in a row with him in the team. I really rate Konsa highly, but I think Chambers has earned the shirt for now.

Konsa played the last match with a clean sheet. Chambers didn’t.

Coutinho made the job simpler for D.Luiz the way he took the pace of the ball and put it nicely in front of him. Made it look it easy. That’s not to take anything from Luiz. Was really glad to see him score and hopefully that'll give him more confidence.

Ah ok I thought Konsa was suspended for a red card.

Sounds like an excellent performance. Current time difference +9hrs meant I fell asleep at 3.0. I slept soundly as I knew it was in the bag

I didn’t think there was much between the teams, in fact I thought they looked more assured with the ball and us a little sloppy and lacking intensity. Apart from the final third when we had Phil and they didn’t. One of the best individual performances you’ll see in a long time.

For what was a game between teams of a similar standard, we wouldn’t have been flattered to have won 7:0.

Who would have thought cutting the ball back from the bylines would be so effective? 3 out of 4 goals yesterday came from this play. Seriously this has been missing from our game for quite a while and if you're going to get the best from the likes of Ings and Watkins it needs to be an integral part of our tactics.

Fabulous result which I have to say I didn’t expect. Glad that both Watkins and Ings scored. I’ve always thought that they could work together given the right service, and it’s very early days yet but that service maybe here now. Brilliant day

Special mention for Chambers and Cash who were excellent.

I think that service is Coutinho. Harsh on Buendia but we seem eternally better since moving to a diamond and dropping the two 10's. Although I'd be more than comfortable using Emi in place of Ramsey/McGinn in the diamond aswell.
