Pathetic from the ref, was obviously ukraine related.

The ref sadly had no option.

Of course he has, you take 2 seconds to confirm it was ukraine related and then show some basic humanity and leave the card in your pocket.

He's losing control of the game as well which means a red is coming soon.

Is there a law that says if you are making a political statement it's ok to take your shirt off then???????
The ref is poor agreed but here he had no option - the laws are the laws, the fact that we agree with the statement sadly doesn't affect the laws of the game

So a bit of handbags earlier saw Luiz booked for nothing but the latest one saw Cucurella get nothing in similar circumstances.

The laws of the game have become an ass - totally ruining the game.

There's no way he won't send someone off
I was questioning this appointment of ref days ago in the pre match asking around about John Brooks.

Bizarre passage of play from Villa.Failing to get the ball into the box leading to an inevitable loss of possession

Considering he's let so many things go by their lot I don't think strict adherence to the laws is his forte.

And giving a Cash a warning (at most) would have sufficed in that scenario. I don't think whoever monitors his performance is going to mark him down for that.

The law on this one is an ass and anyone who tries to justify it in this situation is an ass as well.

The message was to a Polish national team player whoh plays for Dynamo Kiev and is stuck there atm.
You'd hope in the circumstances the card would be rescinded. By any normal standards it's a daft thing to do, but given what's going on ...

Ref seems determined to reduce us to 10 men. Ridiculous.
