What the hell is wrong with everybody, calm down. I don't like Watkins and Ings up front anymore than others but we had 20 shots on goal last week and didn't test their keeper once. I'd have personally played the extra midfielder but let's see how it goes.

Watkins/Ings played together for over 30 mins of that game last week. I doubt they completed 5 passes to each other in that time. Watkins performance was a complete joke when he came on. Yet he gets rewarded with a start in a proven formation that does not work.

If things go badly today then Gerrard position starts verging towards untenable.

There is now way they will give Gerrard the bullet so soon. Unless we suffer a calamitous drop into the bottom three he will start next season as our manager. Also the form or total lack of form from Brentford, Leeds, Everton, Burnley Watford and Norwich gives us a fair degree of breathing space.

....and we've recently lost to half of those teams, so what does that tell you?

Just seen a picture of Manchester United and Watford players all bunching up to show a supportive message for Ukraine.  Sometimes, football isn't so important.  Class act, well done both of you.

Enjoy the game.  Put a shift in.

Agree well if we try and look positively chance to have integrated the youngsters yet he shipped them all out on loan
But also could be looking at developing the right blend across the from 4 and midfield combos yet he giving my mate Phil a luxury rehab back to fitness
It's the final straw for me if start bringing in Suarez in summer because Ings and Watkins haven't performed only because a really good manager works and grows what he has and develops things. All SG wants is fast track methods to success. Bemoaning the character and players

Anyway. Let's get behind them today as I really like a lot of our players so very much
The coach not so as he's draining the players

Didn't teams travelling down (or up) for an away day the night before used to be a thing?

Seems odd of our lot are allowed to make their own way to the game just before kickoff like a Sunday league rabble.

Nice to see. A reminder that lose or win today, innocent people are losing their lives - perspective is everything
