The minimum we should be looking at is another 3 wins this season - Norwich and Burnley twice. I don’t expect much from Man City or Liverpool so that leaves Leicester and Palace as the games where we have a chance to maybe add a bit of respectability.

I'm not worried I think we will get seven points in our remaining games.

Same.  I'm not worried about relegation.  I am worried about our form though.

Exactly where I am, too.

7 points is what I predict too (maybe 9 now that Burnley have lost Dyche, i.e beat them at home, lose away) but it's still a mediocre return and likely to see us well-adrift of the top-half.

We’re not getting relegated.  I do worry though about what this will do to our summer plans.

I struggle to see us getting these targets we hear about - why would anyone chose over Newcastle first example.

And why would you leave Brighton or Leeds to come here.

We've got Gerrard! And maybe Coutinho. And it's easy to commute to Villa from London or Manchester so they can be close to mates. Newcastle is just out there on its own.

True - I guess it will come down to how well we sell the "project", and how much this disapointing season has taken the shine off it

No idea how players decide where to go, and what influences them

Harder to sell a project that seems to have stalled if not gone a step back.

I thought we would have a sort of 97-98 end of season with Gerrard rallying the squad to climb as high up the table as they could. It is very disappointing to see us 15th.

Just another quick reminder that the season hasn’t finished yet.

Yes, and could someone pass this onto our players?

Trophies, Money, Game time, location, perception of the team and family situation . Not necessarily in that order.

Yes you would think 7 points from Norwich, Palace and the 2 Burnley games is achievable. Don’t think we’ll get anything else though.
43 points total would be pretty shit really but it’s comfortable survival I suppose.

We've beaten both Palace and Leicester comfortably this season, so no reason we shouldn't be able to do it again.

Oh absolutely. We should beat Norwich, Burnley, Palace and have a chance against Leicester.

I'd like to give Liverpool and Man City a game but they will really be on it you'd think.
