I suppose so and by being a Villa fan, much like yourself I presume. Think the Villa View first started as a YouTube channel but I only know it from listening to the podcast, he’s also on the 1874 podcast with Greg Evans by The Athletic and I’ve also heard him on some other general football podcast as well as SSN.
As I said started from nothing and seams to be doing well, fair play to him.

I am on "political twitter" but I have followed a few Villa related posters over the years. Don't think I have ever listened to a Villa podcast.

He made me buy two fanzines once, and I'd already bought it from Percy the week before. I only went to say hello.

It was like an out-of-body experience, I was watching myself agree to the purchase without any control of the situation. Truly a master at work.

There was always a worry that the opening day shitshow, the Wolves collapse and the five straight losses would catch up with us if we had a loss of form later in the season.

Losing to Newcastle and Watford and surrendering a two goal lead against Leeds has put us back in the relegation picture.

We desperately need a win to settle things down and keep us out of the mire.

We're 12th and effectively 10 points clear of the bottom three. The bottom three have all been averaging about ¾ of a point a per game. I know that we haven't played well for the last few games, but things would have to go spectacularly wrong for us to get dragged into the relegation scrap. We're certainly not in it at the moment.

Never fear, two more defeats and the pitchfork will be out of the cupboard and sharpened!

But seriously, there's a number of factors that need to be sorted, some in Gerrard's control, and some not. The poor/inconsistent form of McGinn, Luiz and Watkins is one, and that predates his arrival. We've also lost 17 goals from the side last year in El Ghazi and Traore (loaned out and permacrocked) and as energetic as good on the ball as Buendia is he just doesn't offer the same threat. 

We just need to see what the next few games and the rest of the seaosn brings. Win the next two and we could be up to 9th/10th and Gerrard would be averaging 1.5 points a game. Lose the next two though, and I imagine all hell will break loose.

Our last three fixtures have seen us lose ground on three teams below us. We also handed Brentford a win at the start of the year. I appreciate that we are a nice bit clear of the drop zone as things stand but we absolutely need to pull our socks up now or we will be in the thick of it in a few weeks.
