How anyone is not worried sick after collecting 1 point against absolutely dreadful opposition in the last three fixtures is baffling. We scraped a win against a very poor Everton side and a Draw against the worst Manchester United outfit we have seen for a very long time.

The players look lost, the Head Coach is slumped back on his chair and the Board did not address the positions we were crying out for in the January window

Instead we loaned out some very good and reliable players and brought in Stevens mate from Barcelona . The bench looks extremely weak and we leant a direct opponent our Left Back , absolute insanity and extremely poor management from top to bottom.

I'm not worried because I'm comfortable in the knowledge that there's the square root of fuck all I can do about it. Pissed off, almost angry, flabbergasted, bemused, I'm all of these of late. But it's not going to keep me up at night.

I don't think we're going down, anyway. Unless this is the coming to fruition of some dastardly plan Slippy's had ever since we spoiled his 35th birthday plans...

It was his daughter's 18th birthday on Sat - according to the pre-match presser. He planned on enjoying that and watching the boxing. Imagine following that up by doing a de-brief today of Saturday's performance.

The so called offers for Watkins and Luiz came from Football Insider no doubts.  If they come again, and they are anywhere near what was quoted, I am sure we'd rip their hands off.

I wonder whether Gerrard has called the players out too early and they are now not playing for him.  None of the players who left would make a difference to the results, let's be honest, so he did a good job getting wages off the bill but FFS sign a DCM.  We can all see this is a massive problem and cost Dean his job.  Other than his honesty, I see nothing from Gerrard to think we will see the top 8 any time soon.  Sometimes you go backwards to come forwards but this is super ugly and yes, I am a tad worried. We have to play Burnley twice, Norwich, Leeds.  Win those and we are fine, however, other than Norwich, we seem to be struggling to over-power the Burnley's and Leeds of this world.

Me too. I imagine Risso was in the Housemartins' corner at school whenever the choice between them and the Pets came-up though.

Dan Bardell tweeted that we always have a crap period during the season, and now we have had two. Under MoN, we used to refer to it as the mid season slump.
I am convinced we will have a fantastic run of form before the season is out. I will be betting on it as well. It would be rude not so to do.

Well we need to get an average of two points a game between now and the end of the season just to get to last season’s total. So, basically nine wins, which would be the definition of a fantastic run in.
