Before the match take him to a smoke filled pub, sit him in the corner, with a bag of crisps and a coke. Then get to the ground about 2:45, stand in a queue outside to buy a ticket, or try and get a spare off a tout for less than face value. Once you are in, missing all that pre-match nonsense, tell him he can’t move until half-time. Then he can have a cup of tea from a flask, with a nip of whisky if it’s cold.

It was always smokey bacon crisps as well 😂

I used to occasionally take my step daughter when she was young and she only used to go with me because of the Villa chips, that I would buy for her

After 5 minutes of the game she would ask me "how long is left, before we can go"

She is now 33 and living with a Wolves fan, he even took her to a game the other week, I told her that I hoped that she had a good wash after she got home!

I took Rotters Snr Jnr to his first game when aged around 8.
We got there early and parked up, I spoke to him about my first games in the 80's and when my Grandad used to take me on the coach from eamington to the European games, the AV floodlights, the smells etc...we talked about the history of the club and how special the club is (show him the David Bradley film on YouTube).
Photo outside the Holte, visit the McGregor statue and photo, visit players entrance (you never know who you may see). Get in the ground early...and tell him how proud you are!

My lad will only come with me for a pie, he's not bothered otherwise

Taking 10 year old nephew and 7 year old niece to Norwich. I tend to sit in Trinity Upper and there seems to be plenty of kids around so was going to go for that again. I see that there are designated family areas in Trinity Lower and middle. Anyone used these?
