Well done to those three life savers - how many folk would stride passed thinking you were drunk? But above all it’s great you’re up and bopping!

If it was Jack Grealish slumped over his steering wheel I'd probably assume he was intoxicated but anybody else and I'd assume heart problems Nick!

Terrible to hear you went through such a horrible ordeal, but massive respect to those fellow Villa fans for saving your life.
Fantastic news to hear you are on the mend and get a second chance I guess you could say.

Did you seek any medical advice about attending Villa games?
Not wanting to take the issue too lightly, but I'f they had known you were a Villa fan its enough to give anyone Heart problem.

Glad you are on the mend and hope you have a great meet up.

Thank you all so much for your very kind comments. Much appreciated. I ended up having a pacemaker fitted and 3 stents. I’m hoping to get back to playing tennis and walking football but, obviously, realise I have to build up very slowly.
I think us winning the match on 5th December obviously tipped the scales against me!!
Legion, I’ll ask my son if he tried to contact Lee Preece. I know he tried a lot of people and various departments but to no avail.
Scratchkins, I think that’s the same car park I use. Keith is the gateman there. Who’s your husband at the tennis club, if you don’t mind me asking?

So pleased to hear you're on the road to recovey Skerra, long may it continue.  As for you're 'three hero's' it restores your faith in human nature, I'm sure you agree hero's hardly does them credit.  A reason to smile.

What a marvellous story! It's great to see this thread in Heroes Discussion rather than Holte Enders in the Sky. Top marks to the three heroes who saved you too!

I can only echo all the posts above. A (forgive the pun) heartwarming story, and I'm delighted you can tell the tale, Skerra.

Great news Skerra, here's to your health and happiness. As has been mentioned earlier in the thread, Lee Preece would be the best person to contact if you haven't already. Firstname dot lastname at avfc dot co dot uk.

I didn't know we were on the same car park. You have chatted to my husband in the Trinity concourse. I don't know if it is in order to put names on here. He sends his best wishes and hopes to see you soon.

Amazing story, Skerra but the most important thing is you're up and well. Take care.

Scratchins, if your husband spots me in the concourse, please ask him to speak to me. I’ll be there on Saturday.

So pleased you're making.good progress after such a terrible experience.
Those three guys need some sort of recognition for what they did for you.
We all get caught up in the moment of yesterday's disappointment but really this post puts things into perspective.
