SG seems to make use of all 3 subs and it feels Chuck and Young will always be ones to come on injuries permitting.
I’m looking forward to that.

Hopefully Chambers and Mings can bring the best out of each other today. To have one CB out of form you can often get away with, to have two like we did Wednesday usually ends in disaster   . We don't often do routine wins but can we have one today please, Villa?

Great news Emi fit, Lascelles out for them, which should make them weaker at the back.

Hope Gerrard knows what he’s doing, as Luiz, McGinn and Watkins don’t deserve to keep those shirts after Wednesday’s calamity imo.
What’s the point in squad depth if players totally out of form get the nod over players waiting in the wings, regardless of what they do/don’t do on the pitch? Sends totally the wrong message.
Disappointed with that lineup but nevertheless hoping to eat humble pie at FT.

Win today please - if we get some momentum that would be amazing.

Feels like we’re so close to clicking and would be great to see that

Footy reckons Chambers is very vocal.  That might help Mings as he does seem to be the only authoritative voice (plus Emi) at the back.

I think Watkins is very lucky to start , so last chance saloon , so probably score today . I don't think we have much choice not playing Dougie as Chambers comes in at the back instead of DM .   Need more from SJM today ,he should relish this game . Great to see Leon on bench .

I agree, he says he wants 2 quality players for each position but that's pointless unless you're brave enough you drop players from the first eleven.

Hope I'm wrong too (usually am) but not confident for today.
