Happy Buendia made it, and good to see Leon on the bench. Disappointed that Morgan and Ings aren't starting.

Big boost having Buendia in. Been playing well with him and he works hard too.  Pretty much a full strength side other than Konsa and Traore, the latter would be on the bench no doubts.  Good to have Bailey on the bench too.

We go in unchanged outside of the enforced change so not sure why hasn't mixed up a bit after midweek exertions and hoping the recovery has been OK for them and we have decent energy.
The line up is pretty much set seemingly but maybe we could have looked at freshen things up.
Great to see Bailey on the bench.

And good luck Chambers! Good to see him involved strong and vocal showing.

Alan St Maximan is playing and he's unplayable when on form
He'll be booted in us trying to stop him so have to keep our discipline

Happy enough with that but would like to see Ings on for a decent spell as well as Sanson, Bailey and/or Carney if some of them are feeling it after Weds.

He does work hard just been erratic in final passes if he can get that right today he be creating plenty.
I hope we done get undone by set plays with them having some strong headers of the ball.

They need to play differently, to ensure the CB are not as exposed as they were last Wednesday.

Yes, I would have preferred Ings... Hope Gerrard is quick to react, if we're not getting anywhere. I also hope Mings has been given a bit of a talking too. Perhaps he'd like to stay back a bit and keep an eye on young Calum?

I am concerned that Buendia could breakdown after 30 disrupting the team?

Interesting to see how the team look physically after the Leeds game, I can see a couple of changes being made around the hour mark.

SG seems to make use of all 3 subs and it feels Chuck and Young will always be ones to come on injuries permitting.

Sanson and Ings must not be rated all that much by Gerrard is the only conclusion you can take from that starting lineup. I guess Trippier will be left back for them.

I can see Joelinton beasting Buendia today - a physical mismatch.

That said on Saint-Maximin we have Ramsey and Coutinho who are absolutely wonderful.
Ramsey will be fouled as much as ASM I'm sure when JJs dribbling
Ramsey is such a sight to hold brilliant and Shelvey and co will have no answer to PC and EB skills too.
Come on Villa
