A win is a win and we seem to be baby stepping back towards a sustainable top half team.

Some very good comparisons and tie in back to our darker days of a decade ago which lasted too long..

They would get their money back on the very irritating Brazilian, and DCL would go for huge money too. Other than that for the money they have spunked the managers they have hired (and fired) during the current ownership they have very very little to show for it. Other than their fine history. Owner is like an even richer Lerner.

Enjoyed reading this. A story of two clubs only a few points apart on the face of it but heading in two vastly different directions on close analysis.
Everton are a downward spiralling mess and it will be difficult for them to get out of it.

I heard the commentator say that too. But according to 11vs11, we actually extended our crushing superiority over Everton to 84 wins against their mere 82.

I think it depends whether you include the 1939-40 season.
