Played quite well, but you can tell we won’t score. Also some really sloppy defensive play.

We have been great and just awful in equal measure. Our final ball is invariably shite and boy we like to give away needless possession.

Let’s hope that was our bad half.

Unless we get that DCM to start dominating, Coutinho may not make a massive amount of difference, particularly in this formation. Quality player, but we have to get him the ball and I can't see that with this current midfield.

You say that when Buendia has been on the ball many times and chances have happened as a result.

Coutinho is simply better if match fit so I'm hopeful they'll be goals and assists very soon with the same space.

I’m looking forward to seeing Coutinho and Bunedia together.

Even the pundits know Man. United are awful...spending all of half time talking about us for once!

How many times did Ings touch the ball in that first half?  3? 4?  Not saying it's necessarily his fault, but something isn't working there.

After that first half I’d be happy to see Targett & Luiz replaced this month. Not good enough.

Luiz is playing by himself in there. Ramsey particularly and McGinn not helping at all.

We are far too open without the ball for me. Loads of chances for both teams. The correct sub would be to replace Ings unfortunately. Watkins hopeless out wide but a huge threat down the middle.

Buendia very mixed for me. Gets in great positions but doesn't protect the ball well enough.

I think Buendia is starting to look really good.

Yes could work as the two narrow 10s for sure in some games.

We go from the sublime to the ridiculous with such ease.

Watkins and Buendia so wasteful in possession, SJM anonymous.

Utd are there for the taking too.

They absolutely are but we're not ruthless enough. Got to be way more clinical.

Very quiet inside Mould Trafford apart from the away fans.

Watkins should have had a couple and Ings at least one.

Asleep for their goal.

Ref failing to see repeated late challenges by ManU, but booked Ramsey for not a lot.

Sloppiness creeping in towards the end of the first half, need to get hold of things.
Luiz immense in midfield, Targett and Ramsey our weakest players.

Plenty of empty seats in the tourist stands.

Fair comments but with this midfield, we will continue to ship goals.  I am looking forward to the added quality of both of them, together, hopefully but we need the beef behind them to allow them the space and time just off Watkins.  I think Coutinho might bring the best out of Watkins too.

For all the mistakes fro others, it’s Ings who needs to be replaced at halftime - he just doesn’t work in this system. Get Watkins through the middles, Sanson to offer a bit more protection in the middle and push Ramsey wider.
