I hear you. I am seriously sick of it all. Why do we bother.

Why do we bother, listen to David Bradley on 140 years of Aston Villa, like many of us including yourself

He was there yesterday

Poor bastard

Probably wished he still had a TARDIS.

I was queuing behind someone in Tescos earlier. When it was his turn to be served he plonked the basket on the conveyor to empty it. Then he put his basket on to the stack but left both handles folded in so I couldn't put mine on there without moving  them. I wanted to kill him. Is this normal?

Yes, absolutely. I often go past mere murder in such instances and fantasise over the methods.

Almost as bad as people who don't put the "next customer" separater thing on the conveyor belt.

The thing is, a few summary executions and it would stop. There's a lack of will to tackle the situation.

Ha, my Wife often tells me off as when the person infront of us doesnt do that, I reach and get one myself, then I slam it down hard making as much noise as I can while loudly saying thank you.

Can't believe so many people

a) shop in person at all
b) don't use self scan/checkout

This minimises contact with the general public as much as possible.

My wife thinks I'm nuts because I let bad shopping etiquette annoy me so much. Can I add to the list people who chat away on their mobile phone completely oblivious to their surroundings and even worse they don't even acknowledge the cashier. All of the above crimes deserve a prison sentence at the very least.

None of it takes much effort:

Stack your empty basket neatly inside the one below, with the handles on each side.
When your last item is on the belt, place the next customer bar behind your shopping.
Have your debit card in your hand ready to pay, not in the bottom of your bag, inside a purse that has more zips and locks than a bondage night at Sexual Ealing's Mexican dungeon
Do try to remember your PIN first time, and not mutter "ooh, what it is it now?"

It's all velcro down there now.

Given the allegations from certain nameless posters that you are on the hirsuit side, aren't you playing with fire here?

I just take the money on the door and make sure that everyone's uncomfortable.
