Sadly as I thought would happen, Whyte was totally outclassed.

Never bother with PPV or searching for streams - if it’s any good will watch later in week when it’s on the channel I already pay for.  Is the undercard as average as expected?

At best it was average.

BT pundits are saying the golf he's been playing, may have helped Fury produce that uppercut, well that's a new one on me.

I think the fact that Whyte seemed scared to attack him had more to do with it.

The final punch

Lots of people commenting who've clearly never taken a punch to the jaw that rattles the brain stem. A flyweight landing that would probably have dropped Whyte, let alone a 6ft9, 18 stone man.

As Dave said, big fights draw out the casuals who think Rocky is an accurate depiction of boxing. (Not aimed at anyone here, of course.)

On here? I don't think anyone has downplayed how good a punch it was, personally I was impressed that Whyte got back up but he was clearly not all there. All my point was trying to say is that after 5 years waiting and all the noise he's made Whyte never, in my opinion, really tried to land anything, that's a credit to Fury who makes himself really difficult to fight but also shows Whyte up for what he really is, that's he been the mandatory challenger for so long shows how weak the division is.

No, sorry Paul, I meant comments on Twitter.

I think Whyte's a good, strong fighter, but I agree, I never saw him as a threat to Fury, which is why I didn't pay for the fight.

Wouldn't mind seeing Whyte against Wilder.

The DJ at Wembley sounds like he's playing everything from Now That's What I Call Music CD's

I heard an ad during the week for Now 111 so they're still going strong.

I actually had the first ‘Now that’s what I call music’ LP.
Long gone now though, probably worth a fortune

Pretty routine win for Fury last night.  All his talk about retirement frustrates me, especially when it isn’t really genuine.

I hope he gets to fight Usyk for a unification belt. And then maybe Joshua just to shut the latter up for good.
