Ings runs like he's 45.
Can see him being subbed again.

I like Ollie drifting out left so far, getting joy going up against Calobah when Chelsea play a high line so that may save him today.

Overall another excellent half against good team. We're full of confidence currently.

Ings runs like he's 45.

Getting outpaced by Thiago Silva, who nearly IS 45.

Silva is world class CB in fairness. All about how to position himself at his age and he's superb at it.

Fair point, he's brilliant.

get Bertie on for Ings

Ings not deadly enough today , seems a few seconds behind in his head . Think Bertie could do alright against these with Watkins up front.

Shame Archer's not on the bench. He'd have fun running in behind this high line, and he likes a goal against these.

Lack of match fitness, think we'd see AEG before him.

Really really want to see Bailey in this set up. Guess it will be another four months before we see him out on the pitch.

We've been excellent. Mount cross aside they've been absolutely shit. It was definitely a penalty though.

Our best first half for a while. Really encouraging. Battling well, all
Good up until the final third. Ings disappointing again. Ollies football brain seems to be lacking slightly at the mo , but can’t fault his work rate.

Silly penalty , but cash had a good half aside from that. Sanson looks decent , Ramsey looks like he’s been at this level for years. Douggie looking classy as well.

Isn’t it nice to be playing the European Champions and looking more than decent.

Gordan (my hero) Cowans used to make his knowledge of the game work for him when he lost his pace. Legend.

Like Midfield balance even without SJM.

Matched them which is encouraging.

We do need to remember that ings has just come back from injury. Also, if we have everyone fit, he most likely doesn't get in. He's been brought in to compete with ollie not to play alongside IMO.

Well I think we look pretty fucking good. Going toe-to-toe with the European champions and making them shit themselves whenever we get the ball in their half. Don't care overly much about the result as ever against this type of team, but the performances continue to be really really encouraging.
