Need Ings to step up today.

I actually think it's Watkins that does. Its him that needs to change his role for the team. I've no doubt thar ings will do his job if given enough chances and its up to Watkins abs buendia to supply him.

Ollie's been good at CF lately. I'd have rather kept him as CF and put El Ghazi on the left.

Until he proves otherwise just feels Ings unbalances us in final third. We've been playing some really fluid football in final third and hardly missed him last 3-4 weeks.

Although it was in the Smith system it looked unbalanced.

If Gerrard thinks there is a way to make it work, I'm comfortable seeing how it plays out until it looks like the result is the same.

Watkins had a chance and he tried to find Ings with a pass that was never on where he should have gone himself. That's the problem with playing them both.

Turned on Sky, heard Andy Hinchcliffe, turned it off again.

Townsend on the world feed.

Our crossing isn't great when we get in final third, poor Ollie couldn't put in better cross with Ings unmarked in the middle.

That's often the difference v this level of opposition. Still good start anyway, passing and moving well yet again.

We are looking decent to be honest. Morgan Sanson is a quality player. He was all this time and he joined with an excellent reputation. Just butchered by one injury or illness after another. Hopefully he gets a chance to really shine now.

Getting into good areas.

Just need that extra bit of quality and finesse.
