Bit of a pain in the backside opposition since we came back up but I think we're playing well enough to win this comfortably.

Think I'd bring back Ings for this and try him in inside forward role as Ollie is scoring at decent rate so would keep him as CF.

3-1 win. Despite the current circumstances I'd urge anyone going to enjoy it as not sure the Chelsea match will happen with the cases rising and could easily be significant restrictions on attending sporting events in January/Feb.

Like Wimbledon games of yore, they drag you down to their level if you're not careful. However, we're due to give them a good shoeing, so I'm going 4-0.

Tougher than Norwich, obvs. Won’t be high scoring.

Need a decent ref for this one or they will try to kick us off the park.

I was hoping for a cracking pre Christmas day out but the spectre of Omnicron has blunted that feeling.
As for the game, should it go ahead, I can see an attritional battle but would hope we can rise above it. We're in a better position to go up against the likes of Burnley with this manager so I think we will prevail.

2-0

OK. Bearing in mind that I have to book accommodation for Friday night before the game (I'm oop far north tomorrow), what do people think are the chances of this being covid postponed.

If it goes ahead, the referee will be Andy Madley, but with Jonathan Moss as the VAR official :(

I'd imagine the problem would be our end rather than Burnley's. Depends if we've got an outbreak. Moyes I think commented the problem is youth players coming into the bubble so seeing we have a lot of youth players involved...….. 60-40 for going ahead based on nothing really

Unfortunately it seems impossible to predict as the criteria for postponement seem to vary from club to club. There has been no indication of it being at risk but if it was me I’d be leaving it as late as possible before committing.

Just remembered when we played Wimbledon right before Christmas one year and won 7-0.

Have played these shithouses 8 times in Premiership

Home - W 1 D 2 L 1

Away  - W 1 D 2 L 1

So not a formality to win by any means but they do seem a bit shitterer this season and i fancy them to actually drop

A very bruising 1-0 with a scrappy Konsa goal

A win and Mee getting chopped in half would be a lovely start to the Xmas festivities.

I'd love it if we had Wes on the bench to bring on for the last minute..
