If he’s got Covid, I don’t think that’s an excuse to dock pay this week!

I am shocked that Sanson is one of the ones that appears to have covid

What sort of half arsed way is that to start the match thread?! If we lose, I'm blaming Kippax! ;)

I think we've got away quite lightly Covid-wise by the looks of things, only really Sanson missing who you'd perhaps want to play.

I’ve still no idea how to post a picture!!

That bench is exciting in my opinion. Lots of young promising kids to come on.

But none of them a surprise to Smith who will know them well.
Pity about Sanson I had visions of his having a stormer to show Smith what he was missing

We should still have enough and expect a change for young around 60 mins

There's knowing players, and then there's having the players to stop them at your new club.

"Don't worry about McGinn lads, he'll sit in the two in front of the defence being largely ineffective."

"But boss, isn't Gerrard playing him in a proper midfield 3, where's he's been fantastic?"

"Has he? Bugger!"

Yeah - but all the time in the pre-match analysis when he told them not to worry about Sanson was pretty sound

It’s a real shame that Sanson isn’t playing because I’m fairly sure he would be busting a gut to prove Smithy wrong. I hope Emi Buendia does the same for us as he did regularly for Norwich too. Just win please Villa. No benevolence at all.

Sounds like they are down to the bare bones too.  Their fans clearly concerned about the quality of their bench
