A game of two halves - a Villa trait?
« on: December 01, 2021, 10:58:36 PM »
How many times in the last 10 years or so has this been a defining report of our matches?

Not a reaction to tonight’s game.

One half - world beaters - we need a bigger ground.

One half - yikes this is bad  - real bad.

It has been a thing for most of the managers.  And many of our games.

Is it just a Villa phenomenon?

No I think it’s naivety from successive managers.

Now we have a manager who as a player was a master at game management so I expect to see the Villa become more street wise.

Very apt.
This seems to remain the  case!
