What if Ivor Linton hadn't given away a penalty against Dynamo Berlin (his first touch of the match) , Jimmy Rimmer saving the penalty and Tony Morley running the length of the pitch to score the winner (from subsequent corner). I actually said this to Ivor at a European Cup tribute day in Stourbridge earlier this year !

If Dion Dublin doesn't break his leg at Southampton playing for Man Utd early in the 92-93 season, they don't sign Cantona and we win the league.

What if Dean Saunders had scored just one of those chances vs Spurs in 1993 at the height of the title race. Garry Parker missing a vital chance at Norwich too. What if the ref at Old Trafford hadn't let United play till they won vs Sheff Weds while we only draw with Coventry.
Came here to say the same. Dean against Spurs that evening and ref with self acquired disabilities at OT. Those two still are huge regrets…..

Obvious one, but what if hawkeye worked?  It wouldn't have led to instant relegation like others had said but that point was obviously vital.

Well, we'd have had the rest of the match to play, and obviously our approach would have been different at 1-0 down to 0-0. And even if we'd have lost, there was still the rest of the season to go.

Fully agree but it's still a 'what if'.  We could of been 1-0 down at half time with fragile confidence and lost 3-0?

What if we’d won every game in our entire history, without conceding any goals?

What if the ref had given (correctly) a goal-kick in the 2020 League Cup final, instead of the corner that the Petrostate scored their second goal from?

There was no way we were winning that day, we did amazingly well to at least make it a contest.

Nice bonus to be awarded a free goal, not that you should need it when you've already bought up the league.

Back on topic: what would have happened if Pat McMahon's thunderbolt finish had been given as a goal at Filbert Street in April 1970?

A funny tale of revenge here....the 0-0 game with Spurs when Deano hit the bar more times than George Best, not sure if you remember but the late Justin Edinburgh cleared one out from the back of the net ..from them I fkn hated and I mean hated Edinburgh..cue forward to 2002, Im in a bar in Brum, looking for a willing young lady and theres a load of Laaahdan birds on a night out in Brum including one very shapely, others may use the term BBW, others may just use the word fat, but she was beautiful with it, stunning looking, tanned, sz26 all tits and arse, she was actually a plus sized model...Im all over it, drops the old charm on her and it transpires it was only Edinburghs ex  8) 8) 8) 8) whats a man to do ... dated her for 15 months and even moved to London with her before things went Pete Tong.

What if a young Perryman had not stopped Andy Lochhead's goal bound shot ?
We would have been " running round Wembley with the cup"

What if Morsy had been deservedly sent off at Ipswich when we were 2-1 up?

Three matches and three second yellow (red card) card decisions that have not gone our way; if we had any other Manager than Unai this would be bleated over every sports news channel.

You're right.

Unai's not really up to date with this modern management intimidation lark, is he?
