What if Les Ferdinand had decided to sign us for in 1995 instead of Newcastle and he played up front that season with Yorke?

What if Luc Nilis hadn’t got injured?

This one is something i’ve often wondered. Apparently Gregory had wanted to sign him to replace Yorke. So what if we had signed Nilis in 98 to replace Yorke when Nilis was still in his prime?

What if Archduke Franz Ferdinand hadn't been assassinated and Frederick Rinder had been able to carry through his plans for a 120,000 capacity Villa Park ?

I heard WW2 started when a bloke called Archieduke shot an ostrich because he was hungry. So what if he wasn’t hungry that day?

What if Glen Whelan had sliced that last minute equaliser wide v Stoke and we’d won 2-1 and justified O’Neill’s decision to prioritise top four over the UEFA Cup.

What if David James hadn't dropped that corner at Wembley in 2000.

This would be mine aswell, or generally "What if O'Neill's Russian gambit had paid off."

I'd actually erased from my memory that we were 6 points clear of Arsenal in fifth at that time, nailed on to finish in the top 4 and qualify for the champions league. One of the great "What ifs"

He dropped it because Southgate got in his way.
Talking of Wembley finals, what if Phil fcuking Dowd had rightly sent off Vidic in the 2010 LCF?!

Well it still would have been better if he hadn't dropped it :)

That could be argued both ways. What if he gone with a stronger side and maintained fitness and team spirit. That's crap by the way, I agree with you.
