Probably his last big contract.  I'd assume on a reduced wage given the duration and him being about 33 when it expires.

We now need to find a young alternative to be the succession plan.
Garcia?

Can someone please put up the words to the Matty Cash song. I must learn it ASAP.

He's our right back, he's our number two!
Signed for Villa, the Polish Cafu!
Down the right, and he loves to attack!
And he goes by the name of Matty Cash!"

So a new FORE year contract.
I'm OK with that, as long as he does not end up an albatross around the neck in 2 years time.

A little birdie tells me he's very happy with his deal and yesterday's goal went a fair way to repaying Emery's faith in him.

Is he on a decent wedge?

Apparently. But his agent draws a fair slice of it.

He's done well recently, there was a time when fans would drive him to a new club themselves.

He looks much sharper and has admitted that he's really worked hard on his fitness, given up the beer and will be tee total during the season.
