He didn’t play well last night - he tried, but in the main he absolutely killed any momentum we had. I don’t mind him as a squad player, but only as a right back.
None of them played that well, him and Bailey i thought were our best two.

All about opinions, but like I said he worked hard but his actual play was one of our biggest problems.

I thought Cash looked like one of the few players actually trying to make something happen last night. It never came to anything but it looked more likely to when he was going forward than when Luiz or McGinn had it in midfield.

The last few weeks I've felt like the "problem" with Cash is that he looks like someone who is doing exactly what he's been told to do by the coach, but to the point where he can't do anything else. If it's not working he's still going to do it, which is why we end up going from the edge of the opposition box right back to Martinez so often.

We've done better because certain players have improved under UE. Cash hasn't, nice spin though.

Honestly, do you not look at those numbers and think that, maybe, just maybe, some of it is deliberate?

Like, you've managed to get it exactly wrong. Cash's problem isn't at all that he passes it forward well then messes up in the final third. He's pretty good in the final third actually, as he is in the defensive third - he just does nothing at all to progress things in between.

I like Cash but I don't think he's technically good enough nor sufficiently disciplined in defence (keeping the offside line etc). His problem is decidedly not a lack of Gerrard-era aimless slinging it in.

I don't think I agree that he looks good in the final third. I think on the whole his execution and decision making are generally lacking quality.

Not that they will but given their proximity I dare any jornalist to ask Unai what were his instructions to Cash.

Second question (if allowed); Did you know Cash was shit at Forest as a winger?

Doesn't mention why, is it his hamstring playing up again? The more rested our players over the summer, the better but he'll clearly be gutted.

I'm guessing that there are probably one or two Spurs fans commenting on that? Or "sad twats" as I prefer to call them.

Unai's doing a Fergie on it, keeping our players off international duty so they're rested and fresh for our tilt at the Champions League.

Cash just on Sky Sports talking about Emery's new contract and wanting to play Real Madrid next season. Looks happy. Didn't mention an injury.

I imagine Vinicious Junior would be looking forward to that too.

I might be French and a big fan of the current world champions (but for Dibu's leg) but Mbappe has a face and a demeanour that makes me want to stick him in a coconut shy and throw coconuts at his mush.
