I can just imagine sky tv sending a runner to grab the note after Watkins threw it down. Glad Mings stopped that happening.

Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater here, I thought it was probably a good move to not let on instantly to Man Utd/Soton that we were changing the approach (or rather, not letting on what that change was).

It's easy to see everything that happens when we're in a slump as automatically a bad idea, but I thought that was one of the few good points this season - a bit of awareness of how we can get an extra advantage, however small.

I see it as the sort of thing that teams with poor players and limited resources do to gain an extra advantage, to make up for lack of quality and talent in the side. File alongside "clever" set pieces, long throws, long balls and an over aggressive approach.
We'll be turning off the hot water in the away dressing rooms next or taking the players up Clent with an army drill instructor.

And playing John Cena style rap music really loudly on a ghetto blaster and burning Smiths Wellington boots.

Bruce (not the ex-Villa manager) has been dead all along.
It’s Rebecca Vardy

You probably do if you're 12.

Whatever it said, Watkins seemed to have the most trouble deciphering the handwriting.

Never seen anything like it before.

Thankfully Mings did his captain duty and picked it off the floor before it was leaked to a reporter.
Totally ridiculous  and well done to Mings for taking care of it.

Saying we've got a specialist set-piece coach, it's amazing how much we've struggled to organise at set pieces and defend them.

Other managers have sent on notes, I don’t see the problem.
