This just smacks of desperation.  It's like when Lambert just kept throwing strikers on when we were getting knocked out of the League Cup by Bradford but had no idea how to actually utilise them beyond playing the percentages.

We did actually score a late goal in that game.

smiths taken off both our most dangerous players. Is he playing russian roulette? he's brought on a kid and a goal shy striker.
2nd half Gazi and bunedia were our biggest weapons.

Desperate stuff this isn't it.  Huff, puff, long throws.  No invention whatsoever.  Whoever is out net manager, can he please do away with the long throws.

Can't agree with commentator saying it will be nervous 10mins for Saints. Any game management  competence will see it through

Southampton are actually really shit, we just made them look good first half.
Truth is that all the teams we have lost to really aren’t that good.
If we could JUST up our game we good beat them.

So you would rather he brought on a defender???

And just like tonight, we actually needed two.
