For me it has to stay gold. I wouldnt want the lion going back claret. Its been gold throughout our premier league era and thats how it should stay

Obsessing over "the Premier League era" is about as plastic as it gets. The best badge is the round one. The lion on the round one is claret. Ergo, the lion should be claret. Yellow is a rubbish colour.

I have to admit that I wouldn’t mind just a lion without letters or words (70’s style) it would have to be a proper, rampant, lion.
We know who we are, we know we’re the greatest team the world.

A slight diversion - does anyone still have the image from the flag suggestions of a very relaxed looking lion that led to some of the most hysterical (as in funny, rather than mad) comments I think I've ever read ? If memory serves I think it was damon green who created it ?
