Looking at the squad list from his time at the club, Alan Hutton, Joe Cole, Darren Bent and Gabby Agbonlahor are the ones who have done some media work after finishing playing (seem to recall Kieran Richardson appearing on a few things as well).

Joe Cole always had a reputation as a great pro didn’t he?

There was a quote from an unamed player from when Keane supposedly went round to a players house to have it out with him, something about the intensity of Keane in training when it's only Aston Villa we're playing for, not a champions league club.

It stuck with me because it said everything about the joke of a club that we were and the useless twats we employed. The club feels unrecognisable from that time now.

Forgot about Darren Bent - he's in the media/radio a lot.

Hutton was out of the bomb squad when Keane arrived.

Yep, thank god it does.

Terry made a big difference to our dressing room. He came with the right mentality for training and levels, in the same way Keane was expecting but thankfully people listened.

I wonder might one of them have been Guzan? He said most clubs have one or two bad apples, Villa had 5 or 6 that season. And then, of course, we added a couple more (Richards and Lescott). The place was toxic.

A lot of people don't like Keane but he was correct in what he said in that clip. That Tom Cleverley story though...could have been an important intervention given how close we were to going down that season.

No-one was more unprofessional or more of a bottling wuss for bailing out at Villa than Keane. Zero time for him. All he did was grow a silly beard.

And promote his book which was published at the same time

Best thing he did at Villa was to blank Mourinho when he tried to shake his hand a few minutes before the final whistle when we played Chelsea one time

Exactly, he just likes to stir up shit - a footballing Farage if you will - in fact I'm annoyed with myself I've taken the bait, commented and given him my tuppeny halfpenny's worth of the attention he seems to crave.

He signed Richardson for Sunderland so unlikely to be him. Can't imagine Keane was too happy at the latitude those jokers got under Lambert. Lambert gave Gabby a new contract ffs and that bomb squad episode was embarrassing. At least Terry lasted the course as an assistant for a few seasons, Keane barely lasted a few weeks.

Bent was on TS a few months back and actually said he liked playing under Keane. Don't know if it was mutual but said they were locked in the dressing room for a good hour after losing to QPR and Keane completely lost it with them.

Actually think Bacuna is an outsider. Had a decent first season with us, got the big new contract and then lost interest in improving further so reckon he'd have got a bit of stick from Keane.
