Some of those runs up the wing reminded me of a young Emile Heskey at Leicester

Yeah I agree, he was another who, early in his career had that same awkward control that was really effective despite looking 'off'.

The other thing I liked is that he's clearly right footed and more comfortable on that side but if he found himself in position on his left he'd use it despite not being as strong on that side, that's a really good sign that he can be coached to be more 2-footed.

Good luck fella, hope you make it.

Highly unlikely to happen, but I'd be excellent if we ever manage to rip up a decent PL team fielding a side with all the Ramsey, Chuky and Revan boys in it.

Seems to have decent feet and natural ability.  Shame he's not a yard faster but will be interesting to see him develop.

Inevitably someone would say this without having an appreciation for just how good Heskey was a young player.

Heskey was pretty good until he left his teens

The Chukwue Brothers linking up:
To me, to you.
Don't tell me you didn't think it too. 😉

Could we make this into a chant?

I thought that too, yet some of his runs involved punting it past a player and running past them to keep possession; weird to see as I couldn't determine a significant increase in speed.

I think it was more to do with the level of defender he was playing against.

I know a couple of Northampton fans and they're not exactly sad to see him leave. Don't think he got a lot of game time there and was their 4th or 5th choice forward. I suppose we can afford to be patient with him whereas a Division 4 team can't. I do think part of it is to keep his brother happy though.
