Either their players are better than ours or their coaching is.

I'll choose option 2. Without over reacting but performances like today are what cost managers their jobs, especially when we've spent the cash we have.

The changes Dean has made have all improved the performance

To be fair, he took off Targett and El Ghazi who were absolutely, positively dreadful today. Could not have gotten any worse no matter who he brought on.

He probably didn't even want to play Bailey considering he's been at villa for a cup of tea.. but has no choice given the way things were going.

I think we need to lose the claret and blue glasses soon and realise that dean May have taken us as far as we can go. Either that or the inconsistency needs addressing. I’m expecting big boy pants, overreaction etc on the site later but today could be another of those confidence knockers that sees us on another 10 game horror show results wise

My concerns were only highlighted today. Didnt make the change quick enough. Youbg waa good at left back. Sarr hardly had a sniff 2nd half. Smith waited and game was lost.

I dont suspect he can take us any further im afraid

Watch smiths excuses

"Team needs time to gel"

"We havent had a full week to train"

Fair points though

Maybe on the final third front, but giving up 3 goals to Watford with the same back four as last year, along with SJM and Marv in front of them is unacceptable.

Bullied in midfield, which is an issue we’ve had for years and still haven’t managed to sort it out.

Watford had a lot of debutants and they managed to gel so i dont by that one.
