Thank god we signed Ings. Imagine the bubble bursting in this era if we'd had Wesley leading the line today.

Looks like Davis is injured aswell.

Famous last words but the Watford team looks very average, Tom Cleverley as their best midfielder says it all and we can get at that defence if we play with decent tempo and get the ball to Buendia in space.

Fancy a 1-2 win.

Not at all convinced our wide options are anywhere near good enough to challenge where we want to. Hopefully prem experience will see us through to get a result.

Good luck to the boys and to Tuscans on the match thread. On the golf course so I’m hoping the boys don’t fuck up up round. First game isn’t the full side that will emerge over the next couple of weeks. We can beat this lot.

Be good to see how young foes at left wing. Sure he is going  to get abuse from them as they bitter about how he left
