Jack Grealish Tribute
« on: August 07, 2021, 02:47:28 PM »
Jack will always be a legend. He is the greatest academy product we have produced. He is local and a Villa fan. When the relationship between fans and players broke down in 2015/16, Jack was the focus of rebuilding trust and provided a unique connection with fans that cannot be replicated. That's why losing him hurts so much. There won't be many true legends like Jack Grealish.

I'd say retire his shirt number but weve had better players wearing the #10 in the past.
Maybe  shirt #185 after the number of appearances he made for us like the blues did retiring #22 after Bellinghams total appearances.

A nose on a wind-up. About as subtle as a train smash. 2/10

I remember that thing he did in front of a full house in the Premier league, vaguely, because it happened fucking years ago. He's a twat.

He could have been a legend. He fucked off though. To slave owners. For loads of cash. So he's not.

Fuck him.

He could have been a legend, but he chose to leave. For that reason he'll be a footnote in the club's history. Like Yorke, Platt, Gray, etc.

Always will be "one of our own" I suppose and for the sake of England I hope he's a success but in terms of his move to Citeh - I hope it's a flop.
I just wish I could say his move was a surprise but was it fuck.i think Southgate suddenly elevating him to a regular starter when he sometimes couldn't even get off the bench when he played for us is a terrible indictment of Southgates narrow-mindedness.

I think it was more likely to be malicious.
