He'll be a star for us no doubt. For all he was poor at Southampton you could see he was trying to make something happen by himself, and is clearly not fully fit. That one run in the first half, he took the ball down the right, had about 4 Southampton players around him and would've needed binoculars see the nearest teammate.

He's going to be great, along with his other new teammates.

It's been suggested on Twitter he went off with cramp in the 88th minute.

Yeah the press are saying the same thing. False alarm by the looks of it.

Hang on a minute.  Cramp in any other world is okay, fine for next game.  Cramp at Bodymoor Heath means sidelined until the new year.  As you were.

Under the new regime it will be "drink this can of Iron Bru, stop complaining and get back out there you pussy".

He’s a superb footballer but he’s quickly realizing this is a very tough league. He won’t get time and he will asked to work really hard. He needs to give the ball up quickly and move into open spaces where he can do real damage. He’s a young man just settling into a foreign country, a stop start beginning to his career here. He will improve a lot.

One thing that irritates me with him, is his insistence on trying to beat the same guy 2 or 3 times with a move.  You’ve beaten him, now just pass it or shoot or whatever, countless times he tries to be too tricky in the same passage of play.
