We have no players listed in that? What a load of sh'ite.

You're right on one thing, it's a load of sh'ite.

I prefer to not have players getting plaudits. They're young and it tends to go to their heads in most cases. Under the radar for everything for me. If you're still in doubt just think back to, Carragher I think it was, "Who are they going to get better than Steven Gerrard?"

Opinions count for nothing.

Kudus and Olise would be the obvious people to give way to Bailey on stats for the month. I wonder if the two Utd matches being right at the end of the month might have skewed the decision making compared to say Olise who scored three goals in those comparative matches.

Any idea what he is in now?  The BBC gossip column suggesting we will make him one of our best paid players, so guessing about £100k week.

Back in the summer there was talk that Digne was our highest paid player on 120k a week. It was mentioned online somewhere and widely accepted as one of the reasons we were willing to move him on in the summer window. Possible things have changed since then with new signings and Watkins signing a new deal.

In your opinion. ;)

Hi biggest asset now is that all defenders know to not let him inside onto his left foot in the box as he is lethal - but he has finally learned to use his right foot and now turns outside and confuses the defender.

He has now made a number of assists by doing this new move

Why did he not start v Newcastle? Showing Dan Burn up straight away and impacting Villa attack so positively.
I can only think he's not fully fit.
Bailey improves us as attacking side immeasurably.

Sounds like Bailey wasn’t 100%.

He looked OK to me.

I think there must have been a fitness concern to play a whole 90 minutes.
Came on and moved the ball at the pace needed and improved the tempo.
Provided the assist for Watkins goal.

I would think he wasn't 100% fit to start, if not, a bizzare decision to leave him on the bench. The difference he made was what I expected. Diaby is right off the pace at the moment, he needs to be dropped on that performance.

I genuinely think SUE is trying to play Diaby into form....just as he did with Bailey last season...

Agreed. He's going to have to train his arse off, come off the bench and make a big impact before starting again!

(Diaby, I mean for the sake of clarity)

Needs to start. He looks unplayable- in the positive sense.

Superb cameo by Bailey.  I assume he has a knock, but if not it's hard to fathom why he isn't getting more minutes.
