I think he deserves some credit seeing as most of us have written him off. That was dynamic play and vision for the opening goal plus an assist with his weaker foot.
I thought he was getting into better areas yesterday until he saw less of the ball in the second half. Could/should have scored late in the first half too but at least he got into a goalscoring opportunity and worked the keeper.

Looks like Emery trusts him more than Bert. They'll both be great options if we're in Europe but we do need a more consistent wing option for the league.

Better than Bert when he can be arsed.  His second half performance at Wolves last week though was a disgrace as have been most of his away performances.  I'd be happy to recoup the money back on him.  He's  not one to take us forward.

He had a decent game yesterday, then as usual went off the boil and was hooked.

Worth a note today, he was really good in our attacking play. The pass to put Ramsey in for the Watkins goal was great.

I know he frustrates many on here, but we do seem to play better when he starts

Agreed, I’m not his biggest fan but credit where it’s due. Also good to see him enjoying the post match celebrations as well.  One big happy team.

Tracked back and helped Cash with Enciso too.
I thought it was one of his best games in a Villa shirt.
Unlucky not to have a goal and an assist to his name yesterday.

He had some big moments again, he seems to go off the boil though. But with 5 subs it’s ok. I expect he will have stiff competition next season.

Yes, his through ball for the second goal was excellent, and he was unlucky with the effort that hit the bar as it took a slight deflection off the defender's foot to just knock it off target.
