Villa T.V. subscription
« on: July 14, 2021, 01:03:06 PM »
There's a great offer I have decided to take up for subs for Villa games. I know I am an idiot but how do you get it on the T.V. at home. Do you just search for Villa T.V. ? :o

Do you have Apple TV or a way of screen mirroring from your iPad or phone?

I have no idea what that is. I have an I-pad. Is the service only available on mobile devices or will a Smart T.V. be able to access it? I appreciate any help. I can probably find out how to mirror from the I-pad-I don't subscribe to Apple. I don't know where to find the channel in the first place!

You don’t really need Apple TV as long as your smart TV can connect to your iPad and mirror. Each TV is a little different but fundamentally for Bluetooth connectivity and mirroring works the same. For example I have an Apple TV in one room which I mirror to my iPad. But in another room I have a Sharp ROKU TV which can connect to my iPad and then mirror whatever I am watching. Apple to Apple obviously makes it a bit simpler but both work just fine.

If it’s Villa TV you are looking for get the Villa app on your iPad and then in the menu at the bottom choose News & Video. One of the options at the top will be Villa TV. You have to be registered to view the content.

But that doesn't mirror to a tv? Not for me, anyway!

Thanks all. I have not got further than downloading the app to my I-Pad at present. I will try the mirroring via Bluetooth later but have an I-phone. I expect much faffing about and both the Mrs and the dog to quietly leave the room.

Anybody with an opinion on the easiest way to cast to a fire stick from apple and android devices (I have one of each - doesn't need to be the same app)?  I've tried apps in the past, but never with much success.

Flawless? It was unwatchable from 7.15pm - 7.28pm, just kept buffering, or at least it did for me.
Gave up and watched it on my IPTV instead.
