I can't even remember his first name, the useless gobshite. Pretty sure it isn't Alan or Gordon.

Really don't like Platt now, although too young to really remember his time at Villa
He was a superb player who gave us excellent service whilst he was with us and left on decent terms for a decent fee.

Doesn't stop him being a bit of a dick.

First player I remember being really gutted about leaving Villa was Walters, but no way would I class him as a villain. Dwight Yorke probably ticked that box for me, but I understand why he left. Still pretty classless though- from watching the Claret and Blue podcast. At the time I recall being more annoyed by Utd’s machinations to sign him. More recently the I’m going, no I’m staying, no I’m going pantomime of Delph left a bit of a bad taste, but wasn’t it spun as he signed a new contract to get us a bigger fee or something? Anyway, still think he’s a cock. Richards for running his contract down and not going elsewhere to get him off the wages. Again, understandable from the player’s perspective.

Hopefully the extra selection criterion of being of good character as well as a decent player when we sign them, should minimise this risk in the future. That and being able to offer what they all profess to want: European football.

O’Neill if we’re getting into non-player territory?

Yeah it can only be Doug overall. Shite Dork among players, however.

Chairman - Ellis though Lerner and Xia ran him close.
Manager - O’Neill, just raises my hackles.
Player - Agbonlahor, pissed his career up the wall. Great first 5 years the less said about the 2011 to 2018 period the better.

The problem with moving threads like this to sub forums is I imagine very few people will now see or interact with it.
