Carla Ward said that she'd be bringing in some players when she gave her first interview.

I read somewhere that the women do not start the new season until September ,that would explain why there does not seem to be much happening anywhere at any club

Some of those players look too nice.

Elisha N'Dow looks bloody fierce though. She'll be taking no shit from anyone!

She’s really nice as well, my daughters favourite player so when I mentioned it to one of the coaches she came and made a right fuss of her with pics, autographs and a long chat.

I only recognise her and two others now from the season before last.

Game face for the photo shoot!

It's great that they are pushing the women's game more and hopefully attracting more fans. Sounds like she's a great ambassador too. Nice one.

Nice signing, like Jack for England wore No. 7 at WHU. https://www.reddit.com/r/HottestFemaleAthletes/comments/j1cocp/alisha_lehmann/

Hopefully signing Sarah Mayling from the Blues - contract was up today and a lifelong Villa fan like her dad….(not me!)

Good to see the women's team doing some business.  We certainly need a few players in.

Yeah good to see we are starting to sign some decent  players while over at Small Heath it is all about  players leaving .Twelve players out of contract and so far at least four have said their goodbyes

Just don't know if I'll ever get over Iwabuchi fcuking off to Arsenal.

It was frowned upon slightly over here, as all 'job hopping' is in general. I know very little about the women's game, but aren't Arsenal an established member of the women's elite?

They are.  And to be fair to her, she is a top class talent and came to us to get fit for a home Olympic tournament, helped keep us up and has now joined a bigger club.  No issues whatsoever.
