And Spurs buy Fernandes from West Ham for £85M....system is a joke.
We'll probably be fined next , retrospectively, for having too many consonants in our name.
On BBC site, Spurs agree 85M deal for Fernandes, underneath Villa fined by UEFA over SCR. It's a fucking joke.

This is strictly a fine aimed at curtailing ambition. It fines us for trying and falling short. So what are the choices? Don’t try because there is a possible penalty waiting? Or try and get done for falling short?

Raise revenue.

Looking at the Tanswell article, is there potentially more punishment to come from breaching the settlement agreement?

The suspended fine if we breach again. I doubt the owners will incur sporting sanctions.

We have incurred sporting sanctions, they are restricting our Champions League squad (the useless article doesn't say to which extent).

Piece of piss. Rules introduced after other clubs have done so in ways no longer allowed. We have two billionaires. Why can’t they and other clubs with wealthy owners raise revenue through their own methods to fund the business. How about we incur substantial debt like Man U? That’s not counted. Obviously I don’t want that. But to think raise revenue is the only answer we will never catch up as it is tied to success which is the very thing that is limited by restricting spending on the best players.

I think it’s the same restriction as last season just carrying on?

I don't have a problem with being fined for breaching rules, something needs to be done about clubs spending fortunes while being riddled with debt though.

Is there a rule against having debt?
