Who do we have that would get much and wouldn't bother us too much leaving? Rogers is the one people are on about going, but I am not sure someone is going to offer us the kind of figure that would tempt us.

Everyone we could happily let go are pretty much all on running down contracts, so wouldn't get too much for them.

This is a problem from the aging squad.  A players' potential often makes up a fair chunk of the fee, so it stands to reason the fees will be lower if the players have peaked.

Bogarde might be a sacrificial lamb if we must sell.  Others to consider; Maatsen or Digne, Garcia and surely Ipswich need to sign Mings.

Thinking about it, maybe Barranchea and Malen's sales were effectively deferred to solve this risk in the first place?

Yep, I think Barrenechea, Malen and Guessand have already solved this for us (assuming the latter is made permanent).

Surely Barrenechea left years ago? I'd forgotten about him.

He hit the release clause conditions this season. No idea if they’ve settled up.

Eight wins and a draw in Champions League, thirteen wins and no draws in Europa.

and the prize money for the semi final, final and champions. It's obviously going to be less but with other changes with sponsors, etc I agree with Percy that we'll probably end up 'only' dropping back on the revenue by £20m or so, which is still a fantastic achievement.

Broadcast income at today’s exchange rates:

25/26

PL £182.6m
EL £38.8m

Total: £221.4m

24/25

PL £159.3m
CL £72.2m

Total: £231.5m

Further to this, I thought I’d add home attendances:

25/26

1,096,570

24/25

1,205,600

Matchday income was €80m in 24/25, up from €52m the year before.

Commercial was €83m, up from €43m the year before.

Hopefully the drop from the CL season won’t have been catastrophic, and a rise from 23/24. To hazard a not overly optimistic or pessimistic guess at revenue, I’d split the difference between €310m (23/24) & €450m (24/25), which gives us €380m. But honestly, I do think that’s pessimistic, because of increased admission prices and investments in hospitality. I think we’ll be a tad closer to 24/25 numbers than 23/24, so I’m guessing €400m.

Because I'm too much of a lazy get to look for the answer, I thought I'd ask you guys instead.

With the rebuild of the North Stand and loss of revenue that will result, are Villa allowed to offset that missing revenue when it comes to the PSR/SCR calculation?

Gambling sponsors are banned from the coming season, have there been any rumours re our next sponsor?

I'm still holding out for Bejam, Anusol or Rustler Burger.
Hooters.
